The right-arm spinner has played 48 Test matches outside home.  While bowling in 87 innings, he picked 152 wickets at an average of 38.90.

The off-spinner picked five-wicket hauls 7 times and a 10-wicket haul once. His best bowling figures in an innings are 7/120 while in a match is 10/153. Overall, Harbhajan Singh has scalped 417 wickets in 103 Tests at an average of 32.46.
