Tushar Deshpande is the first player on this list. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won IPL 2023 trophy and Tushar Deshpande was the top wicket-taker for the side. In 16 games, the right-arm seamer grabbed 21 wickets at an average of 26.85.

Although he held a high economy rate of 16.23, he became a wicket-taking bowler for the team who provided many breakthroughs at crucial moments in some games.

Akash Madhwal became the highlight of the IPL 2023 playoffs after he clinched the best-ever bowling figures in the 2023 season. Playing for Mumbai Indians, Akash Madhwal grabbed 5 wickets for just 5 runs in the Eliminator clash against Lucknow Super Giants. His spell helped the team to win the match and reach Qualifier 2, where they later lost to Gujarat Titans.

Madhwal played 8 games in the season and managed to grab 14 wickets at an economy of 8.58. When MI skipper Rohit Sharma was short of powerful pacers in the playing XI, Madhwal came to the rescue with astonishing performances during the later half of the season.

Yash Thakur was a member of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2023. The right-arm medium pacer made his debut in the 2023 season. In 9 games, he hunted 13 wickets for the team at an average of 22.23 and an economy of 9.07.

Thakur was also the most successful pacer for the team in the tournament and finished as the second-highest wicket-taker for the team after Ravi Bishnoi. He also bowled a match-winning last over against Kolkata Knight Riders in LSG’s last league game, which helped them to grab a spot in playoffs.

Akash Singh played a total of 6 games and hunted 5 wickets at an average of 37.60 and an economy of 9.89. He also dismissed Virat Kohli cheaply in a crucial game against RCB, for which he gained a lot of appreciation.

In 7 games in the season, he came up with a decent show with 9 wickets. His economy was a little expensive at 10.54.
