5 Players Who Deserve A Chance In Team India But BCCI Is Ruining Their Talent.  There is absolutely no dearth of talent in Indian cricket. Indian players now seamlessly take the big jump towards international. They look like finished products the moment they arrive on the international scene.

However, there are several cricketers who deserve a chance in the Indian team, but BCCI is ruining their talent by playing more experienced cricketers ahead of them.

The likes of opener Prithvi Shaw, spin all-rounder Krunal Pandya, pace all-rounder Rishi Dhawan, spinner Ravi Bishnoi, and pacers Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan, and Jaydev Unadkat are not getting chances regularly. There are some other cricketers who are still uncapped despite proving their talents in domestic cricket. The likes of Yash Dhull, Abhimanyu Easwaran, Priyank Panchal, Sarfaraz Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Riyan Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kartik Tyagi, and R Sai Kishore are on that list.

The right-handed batter is in form of his life as he had shown during the Duleep Trophy, Irani Trophy, and Ranji Trophy seasons. Sarfaraz Khan has been in incredible form, having scored runs for India A, Mumbai, and the Rest of India at the first-class level.

In 31 first-class matches, the right-handed batter has scored 2949 runs at an average of 77.6 with 10 hundreds and eight half-centuries. Sarfaraz Khan was the leading run-scorer in the Ranji Trophy 2021-22, where Mumbai lost to Madhya Pradesh in the final.

In six matches, he scored 982 runs at an average of 122.75 with four centuries and two half-centuries to show for his efforts.  Sarfaraz Khan scored 928 runs in the 2019-20 edition of the Ranji Trophy and recorded 982 runs in the 2021-22 edition.

Shahrukh Khan was part of the victorious Tamil Nadu team which won the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy 2020-21 and 2021-22.

He introduced to the world his extraordinary hitting abilities that helped Tamil Nadu win in the Quarterfinals as well as the finals of the tournament in 2020-21 and then helped the side to win their second successive Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy title with his last-ball six in the final.

He then followed it up with a mighty ton in the Ranji Trophy against Delhi earlier this year and now remains one of the most talked-about domestic cricketers in the country.

Riyan Parag (T20I, ODI)

Riyan Parag has been associated with Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the IPL. The all-rounder has played 47 matches where he has scored 522 runs at a strike rate of 124.88 and has taken 4 wickets. He has been quite an integral part of the RR setup. The batter has some brutal hitting ability and at the same time, he can provide some overs to the team.

Riyan Parag scored a blistering century as Assam defeated Jammu and Kashmir in the quarter-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2022. The 21-year-old cricketer blasted 174 runs off just 116 balls as Assam chased down the mammoth 351-run target set by Jammu and Kashmir.

Apart from shining with the bat, the young allrounder also delivered his full quota of 10 overs and conceded just 60 runs, and picked up one wicket.

Yashasvi Jaiswal had become the joint-fastest Indian to 1000 first-class runs, getting to the mark in only his 13th innings, just like Amol Muzumdar and Rusi Modi.

400 runs during India’s Under 19 World Cup 2020 campaign, the youngest Indian to score a List A double ton at the age of 17, Yashasvi Jaiswal was bought by Rajasthan Royals for INR 2.40 Cr ahead of the IPL 2020 and was retained in IPL 2021 and IPL 2022.  He had scored 547 runs averaging 23.78 in 23 IPL games.
