ICC Cricket Hall of Fame is a list of International Cricket Council that recognizes legends of the sport of cricket. It was launched in January 2009. At first, there were 55 members inducted into the list. But every year, new members are added during the ICC awards ceremony. A total of 93 players are part of the list at present.
Out of 93 members in the list of Hall of Famers, 28 are from England, 27 are from Australia, 18 from West Indies, 6 each from India and Pakistan, 4 from South Africa, 3 from New Zealand, and 1 from Sri Lanka. Here we talk about 5 players who deserve a place in the ICC T20 Hall of Fame.

Shahid Afridi

Shahid Afridi is the first cricketer who should be added to the list. The former Pakistan skipper was a phenomenal all-rounder. In 99 T20Is, the right-handed batsman scored 1416 runs at a strike of 150. He smashed 4 half-centuries. In bowling, the right-arm leg spinner Afridi picked 98 wickets in 97 innings. He had an economy of 6.63.
He retired from international cricket in February 2017. With this fabulous all-rounder performance in his T20I career, Shahid deserves to be inducted into the ICC T20 Hall of fame.
Lasith Malinga

Lasith Malinga was a nightmare for batsmen in T20I cricket with his deadly pace attack and efficiency with yorkers. The right-arm pacer was the first bowler to take 100 wickets in T20I cricket. In 83 T20I matches, he picked 107 wickets.
He had a brilliant economy of 7.42 in his T20I career. His best bowling figure in a T20I game is 5/6. He has picked a 5-wicket haul on two occasions. Malinga is another player who should be inducted into the ICC T20 Hall of Fame.
Umar Gul

Former Pakistan pacer Umar Gul has been one of the best pacers in international cricket especially in the T20I format. The right-arm pacer played 60 T20I matches, in which he scalped 85 wickets at an average of 16.96. He had an economy of just 7.19 and also picked two five-wicket hauls.
His best bowling figure is T20I is 5/6. Gul retired from international cricket in October 2020. With such fabulous stats in T20I cricket, Umar Gul is another deserving player who should be inducted into the ICC T20 Hall of Fame.
Rohit Sharma

Rohit Sharma is one of the best opening batsmen in international cricket currently. The Indian cricketer has played 111 T20I matches so far and scored 2864 runs at an average of 32.18. The right-handed batsman has a spectacular strike rate of 138+.
The swashbuckling batsman has smacked 4 centuries and 22 fifties in T20I cricket. He is also the 3rd highest run-scorer in T20I cricket. Hence, Rohit Sharma is another player who should be inducted into the ICC T20 Hall of Fame.
Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is the highest run-scorer in T20I cricket. He has played 89 T20I matches so far. The Indian skipper has smashed 3159 runs in 84 innings at an average of 52+. He has hit 28 half-centuries and has a strike rate of 139+.
Currently, Kohli holds 5th rank in ICC T20 batting rankings. Virat Kohli is another player who should be inducted into the ICC T20 Hall of Fame.
