The out-of-favor Pakistan National Cricket Team batsman, Ahmed Shehzad, was not a happy man after the Men In Green faced a humiliating ODI series loss against the West Indies National Cricket Team.
Ahmed Shehzad exploded and launched a verbal attack on Pakistan ODI captain Mohammad Rizwan, mocking him with his infamous 'kabhi win hai, kabhi learn hai' jibe.
Pakistan faced a 1-2 ODI series loss against the West Indies
Pakistan tour of West Indies 2025 consisted of a three-match T20I series and a three-match ODI series.
The Men In Green started off the tour with a 14-run victory in the T20I series, before losing the second match by two wickets. However, they bounced back strong and won the third match by 13 runs to clinch the series 2-1.
Pakistan carried their winning momentum in the ODI series and bagged a good 5-wicket victory in the first match to take an early 1-0 lead.
It looked like the Mohammad Rizwan-led side would be able to make the most of the advantage and seal the ODI series win, but that didn't happen as they lost the next match by 5 wickets with 10 balls remaining.
Then, the third ODI turned out to be a nightmare for the visitors as they allowed the hosts to pile up 294 runs on the board, and while chasing, got out for 92 runs to face a humiliating 202-run defeat. It was the first bilateral ODI series win for West Indies against Pakistan since 1991.
Naa batting ho rahi hai, naa unse keeping ho rahi hai - Ahmed Shehzad
Pakistan ODI skipper Mohammad Rizwan had a horrible series as he could only register scores of 53, 16, and 0 across three innings and was at the receiving end of brutal criticism.
The embarrassing defeat suffered by Pakistan has angered the experts and fans, and Ahmed Shehzad showcased his unfiltered emotions in a video shared on his official social media handles.
While lashing out at Mohammad Rizwan, Ahmed Shehzad said that he can't bat or keep wickets properly, and his fitness is not up to the mark.
“Naa batting ho rahi hai, naa unse keeping ho rahi hai. Naa unki koi fitness najar aa rahi hai. Naa unko koi as sach bolna aata hai. Kabhi momentum le liya, de diya, le liya, de diya yahi chalta rehta hai," he said.
"(Neither is he batting well nor is he keeping. Neither can I see his fitness. Nor does he know how to say truth. Sometimes he takes the momentum, gives it, takes it, gives it, this keeps happening.)"
Ya to kabhi win hai ya toh learn hai chalta rehta hai - Ahmed Shehzad
Shehzad further took a brutal 'win-learn' dig at Rizwan and said that the current state of Pakistan cricket is the worst in history. Ahmed Shehzad said:
"Ya to kabhi win hai ya toh learn hai chalta rehta hai. Aaj fir learn hua. Toh iss tareh he aapki cricket chal rahi hai. Isse neeche nahi dekhi kabhi humne Pakistan ki cricket. Har video mei hum yahi bolte rehte hai ki isse neeche nahi dekhi toh aap bhi baaz he nahi aate. Har roj ek naya surprise dete hai."
"(Sometimes he wins or he learns, this keeps happening. Today he learnt again. So this is how your cricket is going. We have never seen Pakistan’s cricket like this. Every day he gives a new surprise.)"
