Akash Deep has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 1 crore. The right-arm pacer played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last season of the IPL.

Akash made his debut in the IPL in 2022 while representing the Bengaluru-based outfit. In his debut season, he played 5 games and picked up 5 wickets. In IPL 2023, he could play only 2 games before playing a solitary game in IPL 2024.

While he is yet to prove himself in the IPL, he could cause a bidding war in the auction after his impressive Test debut earlier this year. Akash made his debut in the longest format of the game during the home series against England.

So far, he has played 5 Tests and picked up 10 wickets. An Indian pacer has always been in demand in the IPL and Akash could get a lucrative deal in the auction.
