Alzarri Joseph has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of 2 crore. The West Indies pacer played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the last season of the IPL.
The right-arm pacer's IPL journey began with Mumbai Indians in 2019. He had gone unsold in the auction before Mumbai Indians roped him in as a replacement for injured Adam Milne. Joseph announced his arrival in the IPL in a stunning fashion. On his debut, he picked up a sensational 6-wicket haul for just 12 runs against Sunrisers Hyderabad.
He played two more games in IPL 2019 but could not take any wickets in those games. Alzarri did not play any game in the IPL for the next two seasons before playing for Gujarat Titans in 2022. He played 9 games in IPL 2022 and picked up 7 wickets, helping the Titans clinch the title.
In IPL 2023, Alzarri played 7 games and picked up 7 wickets for the Gujarat-based outfit. In IPL 2024, he played 3 games for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and managed to pick up only one wicket.
