Team India is likely to hand the debut cap to Indian pacer Anshul Kamboj at Manchester for the fourth Test between India and England.
Going into Manchester, India are currently trailing in the series 1-2, the inaugural season of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. India has faced a huge setback as Nitish Kumar Reddy has been ruled out due to injury, and Anshul Kamboj is supposed to replace him in the Indian team.
The 24-year-old Haryana pacer was seen bowling in the nets, under close observation of Head Coach Gautam Gambhir and Morne Morkel, India's bowling coach.
Anshul Kamboj eyes probable debut at Manchester
At the training session on Monday, India had their four main pacers, Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Prasidh Krishna, and new recruit Anshul Kamboj, bowling in the nets. As reported by TOI, the coaches had a particularly close watch over the uncapped seamer.
With the current situation of Team India pacers, with the likes of Arshdeep Singh injured and even Akash Deep seeming doubtful, they will have to either choose between Prasidh Krishna, who has been uneconomical in the series, Shardul Thakur, who played at Leeds, or Anshul Kamboj, the new recruit.
Hence, it is highly likely for Anshul Kamboj to make his debut at Manchester alongside the other quicks for India.

Nitish Kumar Reddy has also faced an injury to his left knee, as the all-rounder will miss the remainder of the series.
Mohammed Siraj confirms Jasprit Bumrah's availability but has no updates on the Playing XI
