The Suryakumar Yadav-led side would like to ensure that the winning streak it is experiencing at the moment in the Asia Cup 2025 is not broken against arch-rivals Pakistan in the final.

For that to happen, the defending champions would like to correct the mistakes they made with the ball in the previous match against Sri Lanka and come up with a solid performance in all three departments of the game.

Amidst the chaos in the last over of the previous match against Sri Lanka, which India won in the Super Over, the team would be happy with the way they batted after an imperfect performance against Bangladesh.

The team management would want the batters to keep up the good work against Pakistan and for the openers to get them off to a good start, which comprises Abhishek Sharma and Shubman Gill.

Abhishek would like to build on his tally of runs in the Asia Cup, which has already crossed the 300-run mark.

Abhishek's opening partner, Shubman, would also get back among runs after missing out on a big score against Sri Lanka.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Suryakumar Yadav (c), Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Shivam Dube, Sanju Samson (wk), Axar Patel

The openers will be followed by a middle order, which got its mojo back against Sri Lanka after going through abit of a rough patch against Bangladesh.

The captain and the coach would be happy with the form of Tilak Varma and Sanju Samson, both of whom formed a partnership at a crucial point in the match.

Along with the two, the team would also be happy with the finish that Axar gave to the innings, which took India over the 200-run mark in the last over.

The only concern for the Men in Blue would be the form of Suryakumar Yadav, as the captain of the team hasn't been able to score big after playing a match-winning knock against Pakistan in the first round.

The defending champions would hope for Surya to get back into rhythm for the all-important game.

Bowlers: Kuldeep Yadav, Varun Chakaravarthy, Jasprit Bumrah

As far as the makeup of India's bowling department is concerned, it is set to undergo a change with Jasprit Bumrah coming back for Arshdeep Singh.

The rest of the bowling lineup is expected to remain the same, which makes the Indian bowling lineup a force to be reckoned with.

Bumrah will be partnered by Hardik Pandya, who would be fit and available for this particular game, having left the field after bowling just one over in the last game.

Bumrah and Pandya will be joined by Shia Dube, who will come in as the second fast-bowling all-rounder after being rested against Sri Lanka.

As far as the spin bowling department is concerned, it will be taken care of by Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, and Varun Chakaravarthy.
