Since Stoinis couldn’t find the distance, he couldn’t clear the ropes, and India’s substitute fielder Rinku Singh made no mistake, taking a clean catch at long-on to end his fiery knock of 64 off 39 balls, decorated with eight fours and two sixes in Hobart.

Earlier in the 18th over, Rinku Singh had missed the chance to remove the Australian all-rounder off Arshdeep Singh’s bowling. The Indian batter thought he had taken a clean catch to dismiss Stoinis, but replays showed the ball had just touched the ground before settling in his hands.
However, this time, Rinku didn’t make any mistakes. After dismissing Stoinis, Arshdeep walked up with a smile and gave a fist-bump to his Punjab Kings (PBKS) teammate, showing true sportsmanship between the IPL brothers-turned-rivals.
