Ollie Robinson said that the England team will stick with their aggressive style of play in the remaining matches of the Ashes series, even if they go 2-0 down in the series.

“I have faith in this team that even if we went 2-0 down we could still win 3-2, because of the style of cricket that we’re playing. Obviously, we want the public to be invested in us and we want to win games for them,” Robinson said.
“If they can keep backing us, I promise they’ll get rewarded, and 2-0 down could be 3-2 and we’ll see one of the greatest series ever. One thing I can guarantee. You’re going to see us come harder and harder,” he added.

Ollie Robinson Shone With Both Bat And Ball
Ollie Robinson made a significant impact with both his batting and bowling in the Ashes 2023 opener. He added an unbeaten 43-run partnership with former skipper Joe Root for the ninth wicket. He scored 17 runs off 31 balls in the first innings and added 27 runs off 44 balls in the second innings.
The 29-year-old made a valuable contribution with the ball and delivered in a challenging situation. The right-arm pacer picked up the wicket of centurion Usman Khawan and ended with 3-55 runs in the first innings. He grabbed two scalps in the second innings, including Cameron Green’s wicket.
The Ben Stokes-led team will take on Australia in the second Test of the five-match series at Lord’s Cricket Ground in London starting on June 28. The England team is expected to field four seamers in their playing XI, while Mitchell Starc can replace Scott Boland in Australia’s bowling line-up.
