Love Watching Test Cricket In England – Doug Bollinger
Doug Bollinger is hopeful about an even battle between the bat and ball in the marquee event, which makes the Test matches interesting.
“It shows good faith in the England selectors. It just shows that they back them as well and will stand behind them. England won’t just get rid of them and drop them so I’m really impressed,” Bollinger said on SEN 1170 Mornings.
“It’s what people want to see because of that bat and ball contest. That’s why I love watching Test cricket in England because something is always happening (when Anderson or Broad have the ball). I’m really impressed and (Anderson and Broad) have had amazing careers,” he added.

I Don’t Think It’s Going To Work – Doug Bollinger On Bazball
Bollinger expressed doubts about England’s Bazball approach in the Ashes 2023, saying that the Australian bowlers could trouble them with their relentless bowling.
“It can work and if it does work then best of luck to you. It’s fairly courageous going into the first Ashes test,” Bollinger continued.
“Once the ball starts swinging and then turning, that’s when attack goes out the window because you can’t predict where the ball is going to be. I don’t think it’s going to work but it’s made people excited and generated headlines,” he concluded.
