Ahead of the Asia Cup 2025, preparations are in full swing for both the India National Cricket Team and the Pakistan National Cricket Team.
A RevSportz report from Rohit Juglan has claimed that India will conduct a few practice sessions, while Pakistan will go ahead with much more exposure with a compelling schedule ahead of the continental championship.
The Asia Cup has been prioritized this time around, surrounding the PCB's clash with the BCCI and the much-anticipated India vs Pakistan match, which has been scheduled to be played on the 14th of September.
The two rivals have been placed in the same group and have relatively decided on their practice schedule ahead of the continental championship.
Pakistan was the first team to announce its 17-member squad for the tournament, while India emerged as the second nation to announce a 15-member squad for the Asia Cup. Both teams have faced some backlash due to some controversial decisions made during the squad selections.
Team India's practice schedule ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 revealed
Indian cricket has recently been revolving only around the Asia Cup 2025, ever since the BCCI gave its nod to host the games in the UAE.
Firstly, BCCI was criticized for having permitted the team to feature against Pakistan; however, the Indian government has recently confirmed its permission to play in their recent official statement of participation in international sporting events.
The recent criticism has been owing to the selection of the Indian squad for the Asia Cup, since it does not include big names like Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Prasidh Krishna, despite these players having performed very well in recent times.
However, with the squad, India has revealed that they will conduct their first practice session in Dubai on September 5 before their Asia Cup 2025 campaign kicks off on the 10th of September.
🚨 Team India will conduct their first practice session in Dubai on September 5. Whereas Pakistan will hold 5 practice sessions and 2 practice games before the Tri Series and Asia Cup in Dubai on August 22 and 25, reports @rohitjuglan

Pakistan's packed schedule ahead of the Asia Cup 2025 revealed
Pakistan, on the other hand, has very different plans from the Indian team, though they have also received equal backlash over the snub of senior cricketers Babar Azam and Mohammed Rizwan from the Asia Cup squad.
They had already rescheduled their tour against Afghanistan and converted it to a tri-nation series in the UAE, citing it as preparation for the Asia Cup 2025. However, placed against India as well, they have announced 5 more practice sessions and 2 practice games even before the Tri-series and the Asia Cup begin. The games will be played on the 22nd and the 25th of August.
Their recent schedules have remained packed with white-ball action against teams like Bangladesh and, most recently, the West Indies.
India will be the defending champions, while Pakistan awaits its third title since 2012
Considering the 2023 Asia Cup, India will enter this year's continental championship as the defending champions. They had ridiculously outperformed the Sri Lankan side back in 2023, while Sri Lanka, on the other side, were the champions of the 2022 edition, when the Asia Cup was last played in the T20I format.
In the Asia Cup 2025, former Pakistani player Basit Ali even identified Sri Lanka as the greatest opponent for India; however, Pakistan's revamped side would also be eyeing an Asia Cup title under new coach Mike Hesson.
