I Am 100 Percent Fit For Manchester Test: Ollie Robinson
In his column for Wisden, Ollie Robinson revealed the details about his back injury. The 29-year-old said it was frustrating to get back spasms on day one of the Test. He also reckoned he is 100 percent fit for the Manchester Test.
“It was so frustrating to get that back spasm on day one. I was really looking forward to bowling and it was coming out nicely, but these things happen. The medical team said that it’s likely to have happened because I played back-to-back Test matches, and bowled 15 overs of bumpers at Lord’s. So, sometimes these things come around, but then they go just as quickly as well. I’m 100 per cent fit for Manchester,” Robinson wrote.

Robinson also mentioned that he was available to play on day 3 of the Headingley Test match.
“I think we caught it earlier than I have done in the past. I had some acupuncture, a bit of treatment, and I was fine after that. I was available to bowl on the third day if I’d been needed,” he further added.
Ollie Robinson accounts for a brilliant performance in Ashes 2023 so far. In 3 games, he has hunted 10 wickets at an average of 28.40. The English pacer hunted 5 wickets in both the first two games.
