AUS vs ENG: Twitter Hails Marnus Labuschagne As He Hits A Spectacular Ton In Manchester Test

The 29-year-old Australia National Cricket Team batter Marnus Labuschagne rose to the occasion and smashed a spectacular century in the fourth Test of the Ashes 2023 under pressure to leave the fans impressed.
Marnus Labuschagne had a tricky start to the Ashes 2023 as he failed to get past the 50-run mark in his first six innings with his best score being 47. Overall, he registered scores of 0, 13, 47, 30, 21, and 33.

In the fourth Test at Old Trafford in Manchester, Marnus Labuschagne finally registered a half-century but was unable to convert that innings into a big one as he got cleaned up by Moeen Ali for 51.
In the second innings, however, Marnus Labuschagne batted exceptionally well under pressure. Australia had lost 4 wickets for 108 when Marnus Labuschagne joined forces with Mitchell Marsh to bring Australia back into the game.
Together they played a positive brand of cricket and looked settled out in the middle. Australia batters resumed Day 4 on 113/4 and survived the initial half.
Marnus Labuschagne continued batting brilliantly and he completed his half-century off 99 balls. He batted with great intent after completing his fifty and hit some marvelous boundaries.
The 29-year-old on his 161st ball reached the century milestone and his innings consisted of 9 fours and 2 sixes. The batter had a big smile on his face as he raised his bat to a standing ovation from the Aussie dressing room.
This was his 11th Test hundred, just second against England, and only his second away from home. Meanwhile, Joe Root dismissed Marnus Labuschagne in the 68th over to break the 103-run partnership. Marnus Labuschagne scored 111 runs off 173 balls, with 10 fours and 2 sixes, before walking back to the dugout.
