AUS vs PAK: Watch - Haris Rauf Brutally Smashed For 24 Runs In An Over

The 29-year-old Pakistan National Cricket Team right-arm express pacer Haris Rauf was brutally smashed by the Australia National Cricket Team opening batsmen Mitchell Marsh and David Warner in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023.

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is hosting the 18th match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 between Pat Cummins-led Australia National Cricket Team and Babar Azam-led Pakistan National Cricket Team on Friday, October 20.

Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first. The decision turned out to be a poor one for the side as the Pakistan bowlers were taken to the cleaners by David Warner and Mitchell Marsh. The duo smashed the bowlers, including Haris Rauf, all over the park.

Mitchell Marsh, David Warner Destroy Haris Rauf

Australia scored 43 for 0 after the first 8 overs and then Babar Azam decided to hand the ball to express pacer Haris Rauf with an aim to get a breakthrough. However, Rauf wasn???t able to pick a wicket and was also hammered by the Aussie openers.

On the first two balls of the over, David Warner smashed Rauf for a four and six before taking a single on the third delivery and giving the strike to Mitchell Marsh. Rauf started off by bowling a wide to Mitchell Marsh and then got smashed by the opener for a hat-trick of fours.

Haris Rauf ended up conceding 24 runs in his first over and he wasn???t able to recover from that as he was also very expensive in his next two overs and after three overs he had the figures of 3-0-47-0.

The Australian openers continued their batting masterclass and hit terrific fifties. At the time of writing the report, Australia were at 176/0 after 26 overs.

Former India opener Aakash Chopra took a dig at the Pakistan bowlers for getting smashed and he took to X to state:
