Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has confirmed his engagement to girlfriend Greta Mack on his social media account. The 29-year-old took to Instagram to share a picture of the couple.

Marsh proposed to her in Western Australia, where Mack’s family operates a business by the name, The Farm Margaret River. The couple has been together for over a year and a half when they made their relationship public back in February 2020.

The explosive batsman has been having a great time of late in the professional field as well. He has been a revelation for the Aussies at No.3, slotting in perfectly to play the aggressor’s role.

Marsh was promoted up the order against West Indies and Bangladesh after plenty of senior players withdrew their names from the tour citing bio-bubble fatigue. He grabbed the opportunity with both hands.

“I think Mitchell Marsh and Glenn Maxwell can win us the World Cup” – Mark Waugh

Mitchell Marsh was easily the best player across both tours and amassed 375 runs in 10 T20Is combined. Marsh was also handy with the ball, picking up eight wickets at an economy rate of 7.26. On the slow and low tracks in the UAE, he can come in handy with his devilish slow deliveries.

I think Marsh is a really big player and Glenn Maxwell too I think are the guys who can win us the T20 World Cup,” Waugh was quoted as saying.
