India eyes series win:
Team India will be desperate to win the third ODI in order to seal the series. Things have not gone well for Team India against South Africa and a series win will do their confidence a world of good.
Last month, the Proteas inflicted a humiliating whitewash on India in the two-match Test series. India bounced back by winning the first ODI but they were not really impressive. While a century from Virat Kohli propelled them to 349/8, South Africa nearly chased down the total. In the end, the visitors fell short by just 17 runs.
In the second ODI, India went on to score 358/5 but ended up on the losing side. South Africa chased down the gigantic total with four balls remaining in order to level the series. The Men in Blue will be looking to bounce back and win the third ODI to clinch the series.
Action moves to T20Is:
After the Test and ODIs, India and South Africa will be locking horns against each other in a five-match T20I series. The series is scheduled to start on December 9 in Cuttack. India are yet to lose a T20I series under Suryakumar Yadav's captaincy and will be hoping that their record remains intact. The series will also be a good preparation for both the teams ahead of next year's T20 World Cup.
