Delhi Premier League T20 franchise South Delhi Superstarz skipper Ayush Badoni has been in the headlines because of his magnificent outing with the bat in the game against North Delhi Strikers. The young batter set the stage on fire and created havoc across the opposition bowling lineup.

Badoni in the game against North Delhi Strikers played a gigantic innings of 165 runs off 55 balls. He also slammed 19 sixes in his innings, which is the most by any batter in the T20 game. He broke the record of Chris Gayle, who had hit 18 sixes in the game in the Bangladesh Premier League.

Badoni, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL, has been one of the exciting players in the league. He has tackled some of the world-class bowlers pretty well. It's fair to say that if the team doesn't retain him, he surely would be on the radar of some of the teams in the mega auction.

But Ayush is currently not focused on the IPL mega auction. The young batter expressed his desire to win the Delhi Premier League T20 as the captain. He also said that playing in the IPL made things relatively easy for him in the ongoing league. Speaking to PTI, he explained:

"I am not thinking about the (IPL) mega auction yet; my focus is on winning the Delhi Premier League right now as a skipper.

"Playing in the IPL has made life a lot easier for me as a batter here (DPL). We face world-class bowlers there, and then coming here and playing becomes relatively easy."
