Babar Azam Achieves Career Best ODI Ranking, Goes Past Sachin Tendulkar's Highest-Ever Rating On ICC's All-Time List

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam achieved his highest-ever ODI rating of 891 after a brilliant series against Australia at home. He scored 276 runs in 3 innings including two centuries.
The tally of 891 points is now the 15th highest on ICC’s all-time list of ODI Rankings, going past former Indian cricketer, Sachin Tendulkar’s best rating of 887 achieved during his peak.
On the back of his performance, Pakistan defeated Australia by a 2-1 margin. It was a good comeback from the hosts as they were comprehensively beaten in the first game before turning it around in the final two matches.
Babar Azam has a chance to enter the top-10 all time list
Babar’s fellow countryman, Zaheer Abbas, is second on the list with a career-best rating of 931 points. In the sort of form Babar is in, it is only a matter of time before he breaches the 900-points mark and enters the top-10.

Pakistan has two more ODI series lined up – one against the West Indies followed by a series against The Netherlands. If Babar does end up playing all the matches, he can join Kohli as the only active player in the all-time rankings.
