Pakistan National Cricket Team batting great Javed Miandad has made a bold statement, saying that the current skipper of the Pakistan National Cricket Team, Babar Azam, should be the captain of the side until he retires.
Babar Azam and Co. recently registered a wonderful victory over the Sri Lanka National Cricket Team in the first match of the two-match Test series at the Galle International Stadium in Galle.

Pakistan National Cricket Team skipper Babar led from the front in the game and played exceptional knocks to help his team take a 1-0 lead in the series.
Babar scored 119 runs in Pakistan’s first innings, where every other batter struggled against the Sri Lankan bowling unit. Also, in the second innings, he smashed a brilliant half-century and Abdullah Shafique’s incredible 4th innings century ensured Pakistan a magnificent 4-wicket win in Galle.
Babar Azam doesn’t lose his temper – Javed Miandad

On Wednesday, Pakistan batting legend Miandad congratulated the Pakistan Test team for an amazing win over Sri Lanka in Galle. In a video shared on his official YouTube channel, Miandad heaped praise on Pakistan skipper Babar and labelled him as “captain cool”.
“Team is playing as a combined unit, and the credit goes to our players as well as our no.1 captain. He is our captain cool. He doesn’t lose his temper,” Miandad said.
“He led the team brilliantly. The most important thing is he is performing brilliantly himself. He leads from the front. Often, if a captain doesn’t perform, it can affect the team negatively and it leads to his downfall.”
“Babar Azam is mature now. He should be the captain of the team until he retires from the game,” said the former Pakistan cricketer.
