Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are placed eighth and ninth in the ICC T20I rankings which is led by India. Sri Lanka beat Bangladesh by two wickets in a Men’s T20 Asia Cup 2022 clash in Dubai when the two sides met last in a T20I match. This is the first bilateral T20I series between the two teams since 2018.
