Bangladesh and Pakistan will be facing each other in the 3rd and final ODI of Pakistan’s tour to Bangladesh. The two teams are levelled 1-1 after two matches. Bangladesh won the first ODI comfortably by 8 wickets after Nahid Rana dismantled the Pakistan batting line-up.

In the second ODI, Pakistan bowlers were up to the task as they bowled out Bangladesh for the exact score Pakistan made in the first game of 114 runs. The 3rd ODI will be played at the same venue where the first two games were played, the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Bangladesh Playing XI vs Pakistan—3rd ODI

Bangladesh batters have performed decently in the first ODI, and they collapsed in the second. So there have been ups and downs in the batting line-up despite experienced batters; they failed to chase down the target of 274 runs. However, in the third ODI, they will field their best XI against Pakistan. Captain Mehidy Hasan Miraz would be looking to lead the side well in the final game and win the series.

Openers: Saif Hassan, Tanzid Hasan

The two openers need to fire from the top. As Tanzid Hassan has found runs in the series. He scored a fifty in the first game. Saif has failed to score runs with two low scores. He needs to find some runs and provide a good start to the team.

Rishad Hossain has been one of the finest spinners in world cricket at the moment. He would be crucial in the game to pick wickets in the middle overs. Nahid Rana and Taskin Ahmed as the lwill be crucial in the powerplay as the latter picked early wickets in the first ODI to dismantle the Men in Green batters. Mustafizur Rahman would be key in the middle and death overs with his cutters and yorkers.

The middle order of Pakistan: Shamyl Hussain, Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Salman Ali Agha. Among the three, only Shamyl Hussain has failed to score runs in this series. Rizwan and Salman Agha were brilliant in the last game and stitched a partnership of 109 runs for the fourth wicket. The lower middle order failed to score many runs.

Shaheen Afridi led his side well as a captain in the 2nd ODI. He also picked up early wickets and bowled well in the match. His bowlers performed well in the last game and picked up quick wickets, and made the bowling changes well. Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed, the two experienced campaigners, will look to pick wickets in the middle overs and death overs, respectively.
