The Women’s Asia Cup 2022 kicks off with hosts Bangladesh playing Thailand in the first match at the Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium, Sylhet on October 1. The Men’s Asia Cup in the UAE was recently concluded with Sri Lanka winning their sixth title. 

All the matches of the Women’s Asia Cup will be played at the Sylhet Outer Cricket Stadium in Sylhet. The two semi-finals will be played on October 13 while the final will be played on October. The tournament will be played in the 20-20 format like the Men’s Asia Cup.

 India will kickstart their campaign on the same day against Sri Lanka. The much-awaited India-Pakistan clash will be on October 7. India women defeated their Pakistan counterparts in their last two Asia Cup titles in 2012 and 2018. Overall, they have won the title six times. There are seven teams participating in total. India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Thailand and UAE are the seven teams.
