Bangladesh's super fan Tiger Robi is believed to be suffering from tuberculosis and has arrived in India on a medical visa. Robi was involved in an unfortunate incident on the first day of the second Test between India and Bangladesh at Green Park, Kanpur.

Tiger Robi was seen carried out of the stadium by the security and the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) officials on Friday (September 27). Initially, he had complained of being beaten by some spectators and was in severe pain.

Recently, it has been revealed that Tiger Robi is suffering from Tuberculosis. According to the reports in PTI, he arrived in India on a medical visa. His condition was confirmed by the ACP Harish Chander to the media.

"Robi has reportedly been suffering from Tuberculosis, a serious illness that mainly affects the lungs, and has come to India for his treatment," Additional Commissioner of Police (Law and Order) Harish Chander was quoted as saying by PTI.

Tiger Robi is a famous fan from Bangladesh who is visible in almost every international match Bangladesh plays. He also traveled to Pakistan to see his team register a historic win over the hosts. He was in Stand C of Green Park, Kanpur during this match.

"I fell ill and the police brought me to the hospital. Now I am feeling much better. My name is Robi and I have come from Bangladesh," Robi had stated after his treatment.

The intelligence authorities have been asked to check his documents and visa and take a look at his visa conditions. His travel history and activities in India will also be checked by the officials. The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is yet to comment on this matter.

The Bangladeshi superfan has already been discharged from the hospital but it is not confirmed whether he will attend the rest of Bangladesh's tour or not.
