BBL 2023-24 Live Streaming In India Channel- When And Where To Watch Brisbane Heat vs Adelaide Strikers Live? Challenger Match

The BBL 2023-24 season is in its final stages with Brisbane Heat vs Adelaide Strikers taking on each other in Carrara Oval, Queensland. The match will be played on Monday starting at 2.10 pm IST.

Sydney Sixers beat Brisbane Heat in the final to qualify for the final to be played on January 24, Wednesday in Sydney.

Perth Scorchers’ hopes of making the BBL final for the fourth successive time were dashed by Adelaide Strikers who won in the knockout match at the Perth Stadium on Saturday, January 20.

Brisbane Heat qualified for the BBL playoffs topping the table with 16 points. Sydney Sixers qualified with 4 points, Perth Scorchers with 13 points, and Adelaide Strikers with 11 points. Perth’s hopes of playing another BBL final and potentially winning it were dashed by the Strikers beating them in the knockout game.

Adelaide Strikers scored 155/7 in their 20 overs with Jake Weatherald top-scoring with 56 off 32 balls. Ben Manenti (23), and Henry Thornton (28 off 21) played a lovely cameo to take the Strikers past 150 which proved more than enough in the match. After being asked to bat, the Strikers struggled in the first half of their innings, unable to press on with the scoring rate. Despite Jake Weatherald’s cameo in the middle-order, the strikers could only get to 52/4 in 10 overs.

Perth Scorchers chasing 156 to win, were bowled out for 105, with Lloyd Pope, the leggie from Adelaide picking up 4/24. Cameron Boyce another leggie took 3/20 as Adelaide Strikers applied the “Spin to win” formulae in the match. Eight batters from the Scorcher’s side were dismissed in single digits in a batting slide for the Men in Yellow.

Perth Scorchers won back-to-back titles in the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons but now are no longer a part of the competition after losing out to Adelaide Strikers. The Sixers have already reached the final having won the Qualifier 1. One among the Brisbane Heat or Adelaide Strikers will now make the finals after winning the Challenger game.
