BCCI Announces Release Of Quotation Request For Official Partner Rights for BCCI Events

The BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) has announced media rights tender and is inviting applicants to bid for the Media Rights to India’s international and domestic matches.

The BCI has issued the guidelines and given all the details regarding buying the tender on their official website. The tender can be bought after a payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 15 lakhs as stated in the official website.

“The tender process, including eligibility requirements, submission of bids, rights and obligations, etc., are outlined in the ‘Invitation to Tender’ (“ITT”), which will be provided upon payment of a non-refundable fee of INR 15,00,000 (Indian Rupees Fifteen Lakh Only), plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax,” the BCCI stated in a press release.

“Any interested party wishing to submit a bid must purchase the ITT. However, only those who meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the ITT and are subject to the other terms and conditions therein will be eligible to bid. It should be noted that simply purchasing the ITT does not grant any individual the right to bid. The BCCI reserves the right to cancel or modify the bidding process at any stage or in any manner without providing any reason” The BCCI press release further stated.

The Invitation to Tender (ITT) will be available for purchase till August 25, 2023. It is also stated that the parties interested to buy the tender can mail the details required for payment on BCCI’s mail id ccimediarights2023@bcci.tv.

The Indian team are currently in the Caribbean where they are playing against West Indies. They won the Test series 1-0, the ODI series 2-1, and will now play a five-match T20I series starting from August 3.

There has been a lot of talk regarding India being the hosts of the ICC World Cup 2023 and whether they can win the title at home. India last won the ICC World Cup in 2011 when they were the co-hosts of the event.
