In the year 2010, Virender Sehwag got the best bowling figures for India in an ODI match against Bangladesh. During India vs Bangladesh ODI encounter at Dambulla, the former Indian cricketer scalped 4 wickets for just 6 runs in his 2.5 overs.

In 2021, Prasidh Krishna has got the best bowling figures for India in ODIs. In his debut ODI match against England in March this year, the right-arm pacer picked 4 wickets for 54 runs. It was the first ODI of the three-match series. India scored 317/5 in the 1st innings with 98 runs by Shikhar Dhawan and 58 runs by Virat Kohli.

KL Rahul and Krunal Pandya also played notable knocks of unbeaten 62 and 58 respectively. Later, Prasidh Krishna helped India to bowl out England for 251 with his 4-wicket haul.
