Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the ongoing ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to a back issue, but the bowling superstar made sure his young teammates would get his support during the high-pressure match against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

Jasprit Bumrah shares warm hug with Virat Kohli before India-Pakistan clash

Bumrah was spotted in his casuals, not the Indian blue, as he was spotted with his teammates on the ground ahead of the India-Pakistan match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai. In another viral picture, Bumrah was seen talking with his teammates after receiving his ICC awards.

The star pacer shared a warm hug and an intense chat with Virat Kohli on the ground in Dubai. As the team gathered for a crucial huddle, Bumrah stood behind them, sparking excitement among fans before the Men in Blue and Men in Green faced each other on the field.

The Men in Blue are heading into their crucial clash without their most dependable fast bowler. Bumrah’s ability to deliver pinpoint yorkers and control the game in the death overs will be missed by India against Pakistan in Dubai.

Notably, Bumrah was initially named in India’s squad for the ongoing Champions Trophy 2025 but was later dropped as the BCCI and the team management didn’t want to take risks like in 2021. The young pacer Harshit Rana has been named as Bumrah’s replacement.
