Yastika Bhatia's iconic century keeps India in the driving seat at Lord's
On the home ground of England, it is the Indian cricket team that is driving the match, thanks to the stellar batting by the number three batter in the line-up.

On the final ball of the 68th over of the innings, Yastika completed her Test hundred, which is her maiden for India in the format. Yastika marked his maided ton in one of the most iconic Test matches in the history of women's cricket. For the first time since the inception of Women's international cricket, it was the first-ever match in whites at Lord's between two women's national cricket sides.
She took a single off England bowler Issy Wong to touch the milestone. As soon as her bat touched the non-striker's end, she took off her helmet and raised the bat to greet everyone in the ground. Yastika bowed down on the pitch to thank the allmighty to gift her the precious moment of her career.
Yastika Bhatia touches Sourav Ganguly's record
Yastika touches another record with the ton. At this venue, former India captain Sourav Ganguly was the only other left-handed batter who scored a century at Lord's. Sourav scored 131 on debut, back in 1996. Yastika is now the second Indian left-hander to register a hundred on this ground.
The historic knock comes to an end on the second ball of the 73rd over. England's Sophie Ecclestone takes her wicket; Mady Villiers uses her safe hands to claim a clean catch at point. The memorable innings of Yastika concludes with 113 runs from 158 balls. She smashes fourteen 4s to decorate the innings.
Pratika Rawal's injury opened the door for Yastika Bhatia
It is worth mentioning that Yastika was named as the number three batter in the line-up after the injury of another top-order batter, Pratika Rawal.
Pratika was ruled out of the match because of a knee injury that he got during an India A team match. Later, the team officially informed that there were stitches on the injured knee.
