Pakistan stars Shadab Khan and Hassan Ali were involved in a hilarious exchange on X (formerly Twitter) over the tickets for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023.
The demand for the World Cup tickets is really high right now. Fans have been left disappointed as the match tickets for the marquee event are selling out within minutes. The social media platforms are filled with complaints from the fans who have failed to buy tickets due to unavailability despite logging in at the prescribed time and date.
And it looks like Hassan Ali is also struggling to get the tickets for the World Cup for himself, friends and family. The Pakistan star’s request for the marquee event was hilariously turned down by his Pakistan teammate Shadab Khan. It all began when Shadab Khan took to X to post a picture of himself and wrote:
“In the middle of everything, important to take a moment for yourself, stay positive, think positive and relax.”

Hassan Ali was quick to respond to the post from Shadab Khan and wrote: “In the middle of this I asked for ticket?”
But it did not take the pacer long to regret his decision of pulling his teammate’s legs as he received a hilarious response. Replying to Hassan Ali’s question, Shadab Khan wrote: “Please buy tickets. Encourage others to buy tickets as well. Set an example.”

Hassan Ali is currently not a part of Pakistan’s ODI squad and is highly unlikely to be a part of their World Cup squad. The right-arm pacer has not played an ODI for his team since June last year. He has played 60 matches so far and has taken 91 wickets in the 50-over format.
On the other hand, Shadab Khan is an integral part of Pakistan’s ODI team and is currently playing in the ongoing Asia Cup. He is set to lead his team’s spin attack in the forthcoming World Cup. Talking about the Asia Cup, Pakistan have booked their place in the Super 4. They will be seen in action next on September 6 in the first Super 4 game of the competition.
