Bangladesh National Cricket Team T20I skipper Shakib Al Hasan is unavailable for the upcoming tour of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Bangladesh National Cricket Team are set to play a two-match T20I series against UAE.
The two T20I games between the teams will be played at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 25 and September 27. The limited-overs series was zeroed in on after Bangladesh failed to take part in a three-day training camp from September 12 to 14 due to heavy rain in the country.
Meanwhile, Shakib al Hasan, who is currently in the West Indies playing for Guyana Amazon in the ongoing Caribbean Premier League, will miss the series against UAE.
“Shakib is unavailable in UAE,” BCB cricket operations chairman Jalal Yunus was quoted as saying to Cricbuzz on Wednesday, September 21.
