The ODI series will begin from 6 February in Ahmedabad, the second ODI will be played in Jaipur on 9 February and the third ODI will be played in Kolkata on 12 February. Also, the T20 Internationals series is scheduled to be played in Cuttack, Visakhapatnam, and Thiruvananthapuram respectively.

According to Times Now, sources have said that the schedule of the white-ball series between India and West Indies have been under scanner due to the surge in Covid-19 cases in the country.

Also, the reports further added that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is open to the idea of hosting the limited-overs series in just one venue instead of six. The decision regarding venue changes won’t be taken in a hurry because there is still some time before the West Indies National Cricket Team arrive in India.

Indian white-ball captain Rohit Sharma, who suffered a hamstring injury ahead of the South Africa departure, is expected to make a comeback for the 6-match series against West Indies at home.

“Rohit’s rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) is going pretty well. He is expected to be okay for the West Indies series.

“It’s still close to three weeks from now before the first ODI is played in Ahmedabad on February 6,” a BCCI source privy to developments told PTI on conditions of anonymity.
