Fans on Twitter reacted after India National Cricket Team batter Yashasvi Jaiswal bagged a controversial dismissal in the ongoing second innings of the fourth Test. The Boxing-day Test between the teams is taking place at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne.
In what was a massive moment in the match, India National Cricket Team batter Yashasvi Jaiswal, who was looking solid with the bat, was back in the hut in the 71st over of the match. But it wasn't a usual dismissal as it became the massive talking point of the day.
Yashasvi Jaiswal fell prey to a short ball ploy by Pat Cummins as he went for the pull shot
Australia National Cricket Team skipper Pat Cummins bowled a short ball around the leg as he had set the field for it. Yashasvi Jaiswal fell prey to it as he looked to pull the ball but ended up gloving it behind Alex Carey, who dived forward and took it inches above the ground. But the on-field umpire didn't term it out.
Pat Cummins was pretty confident that Yashasvi Jaiswal had loved this. In the middle of his celebration, the Australia National Cricket Team skipper opted for DRS. The third umpire asked for replays again and again and was convinced that there was deflection after the ball went past the gloves.
However, what caught the attention of many was there wasn't any spike on Snicko though. There was no spike on snicko, but third umpire Sharfuddoula went with visual evidence and overturned the decision, and the batter had to take the long walk back to the pavilion.

Yashasvi Jaiswal was unhappy with the decision, discussed with umpires in frustration
Yashasvi Jaiswal was unhappy with the decision, as he was seen discussing with the umpire. However, the opening batter had no option but to walk back. This completely changed the complexion of the game as Australia now seems to be the favourite to win the game.
Yashasvi Jaiswal, who played an innings of 84 runs in the first innings, played a knock of 84 runs in the second innings as well. What was impressive was he batted 208 balls in the second innings and also slammed 8 boundaries in his innings.

Nothing on Snicko. As a scientist I trust technology more than human eye. Shame. I am devastated, my 30 years of scientific research on sound and also this technology has gone to waste. No respect. pic.twitter.com/8rPofj8eZo

Either way, it will favour Australia.

Tbh I saw the deflection but Snicko is shit again in Australia.... Didn't they go with Snicko for that KL decision in the first Test?

If you trust naked-eye deflections more than technology guided snicko then why even keep it?

Better replace it with hotspot or go on-field umpire's call. pic.twitter.com/sNzg4WjVcF
