Chetan Sakariya goes unsold at IPL Auction 2025

Chetan Sakariya has registered himself for the IPL 2025 mega auction at the base price of INR 75 lakh. The 26-year-old is a left-arm pacer and has represented three teams in the IPL so far.

In domestic cricket, he plays for Saurashtra and has also represented Team India in both the white-ball formats. The fast bowler made his India debut in 2021 during the tour of Sri Lanka and has not played for the national team since then. On that tour, he played 1 ODI and 2 T20Is and picked a total of 3 wickets.

Before their debut for the national team, Sakariya impressed in the IPL. He made his IPL debut in 2021 while playing for Rajasthan Royals. In his debut season, the fast bowler picked up 14 wickets in 14 games.

In the 2022 mega auction, he was picked up by Delhi Capitals. He could play only 3 games in IPL 2022 before getting a chance in only 2 games in the following season. Delhi Capitals released the pacer after the 2023 season.

For the 2024 season, Chetan Sakariya was a part of the Kolkata Knight Riders squad. However, he could not play any game for the Kolkata-based outfit.
