Cheteshwar Pujara Bids Farewell as One of India’s Most Resilient Test Cricketers
Pujara retired as one of India’s most resilient Test cricketers. The best performances of his career came in the 2018-19 series in Australia, where he delivered three centuries and 521 runs across four Tests, facing a staggering 1,258 deliveries.
The batter helped India secure their first-ever Test series win after 71 years of failed attempts. Pujara showed endurance and grit in India’s consecutive Border-Gavaskar Trophy triumphs in Australia.
