Indian Cricket Team is all set to play a crucial Test Series against Bangladesh starting from 14th December. This 2-Test Match Series is a part of the World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 where India is placed in 4th position with 52.08% where India has to make sure that they not only win but win with a big margin.

Bangladesh Cricket Team is at the bottom of the WTC 2023 with 13.33 %. They would be eager to spoil the party of India as they have played 10 matches and won a solitary one. Their main problem is that they don’t form partnerships which hurts them a lot.

Umesh Yadav would be aiming to cement his place in the team as already there is a lot of competition in the squad. Recently Umesh has developed good speed and has been quite disciplined in his line and length. It is expected that the reserve wicketkeeper KS Bharat would be sent to Bangladesh.

India’s squad for Bangladesh Tests: Rohit Sharma (C), KL Rahul (VC), Shubman Gill, Cheteshwar Pujara, Virat Kohli, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant (WK), KS Bharat (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Shardul Thakur, Mohd. Shami, Mohd. Siraj, Umesh Yadav.

Crucial Test Series

India would be well aware of the fact that Bangladesh has got nothing to lose which will make them a dangerous unit. The pitches in Bangladesh would most probably be spin-friendly where scoring runs won’t be that easy.

Skipper Rohit Sharma & Head Coach Rahul Dravid will have to be spot-on with their selection as the management would be banking on Virat Kohli to score big runs. It would be interesting to see how the series fares as Bangladesh can spring a surprise.
