India’s newly appointed white-ball captain Rohit who is undoubtedly one of the best openers in the history of Indian cricket has scored 15449 international runs and dismissing him early on the innings is always a big relief for the opposition.

Meanwhile, red-ball captain Virat Kohli’s wicket is the most crucial wicket for any opposition as he possesses the capability to change the game in favour of his team single-handedly. Kohli is one of the most prolific run-scorer in the history of Indian cricket and he has smashed 23197 runs.

Meanwhile, Speaking on ESPNCricinfo, Cottrell was asked which three batters will be part of his dream hat-trick to which he named Rohit, Kohli and Gayle.

Although, this is not practically possible that Cottrell can dismiss the three above-mentioned batters to bag a hat-trick because they don’t play together in the Indian Premier League. However, still, it would have been a great sight to watch Cottrell do his big salute celebration after dismissing Gayle, Rohit, Kohli and completing his hat-trick.

Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma and then Virat Kohli. Kohli as the third wicket would be like the dream hat-trick,’ Cottrell said during the ’25 Question Series’.

Notably, speedster Cottrell was tested positive for Covid-19 before the T20I series against Pakistan and was ruled out. Also, the ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies has been postponed.
