Chris Gayle, Rohit Sharma And Then Virat Kohli As Third Wicket Would Be Like The Dream Hat-trick – Sheldon Cottrell

The West Indies speedster Sheldon Cottrell has said that the West Indies legend Chris Gayle, Indian white-ball captain Rohit Sharma and Indian red-ball captain Virat Kohli will be part of his dream hat-trick.

India’s newly appointed white-ball captain Rohit who is undoubtedly one of the best openers in the history of Indian cricket has scored 15449 international runs and dismissing him early on the innings is always a big relief for the opposition.

Meanwhile, red-ball captain Virat Kohli’s wicket is the most crucial wicket for any opposition as he possesses the capability to change the game in favour of his team single-handedly. Kohli is one of the most prolific run-scorer in the history of Indian cricket and he has smashed 23197 runs.

Although, this is not practically possible that Cottrell can dismiss the three above-mentioned batters to bag a hat-trick because they don’t play together in the Indian Premier League. However, still, it would have been a great sight to watch Cottrell do his big salute celebration after dismissing Gayle, Rohit, Kohli and completing his hat-trick.

Notably, speedster Cottrell was tested positive for Covid-19 before the T20I series against Pakistan and was ruled out. Also, the ODI series between Pakistan and West Indies has been postponed.
