Cricket Australia Announces Schedule For The Upcoming 2023/24 Summer Season

Cricket Australia has announced the schedule for the upcoming 2023/24 summer season. The games during the season will be played in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. The home season will begin after the Ashes 2023 and Cricket World Cup 2023, which will be played in England and Australia respectively.

The home season will kick start with a three-match Test series against Pakistan, which will kick start from 14th December in Perth followed by the second and third games to be played in Melbourne and Sydney. After that Australia will host West Indies for two Tests.

Apart from the three Tests, Australia and West Indies will play three ODIs and three T20Is. The white-ball games between the two teams will take place in February. Along with Men’s team, the opposite gender will also be in action during the summer season.

The Australian women will face South African women in a one-off Test followed by a three-match ODI and T20I series. The series will be played in January and February. The Aussie women will also take on the West Indies in three ODIs and three T20s in October.
