Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will take on the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 43rd match of IPL 2025 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. This article provides details about CSK Playing 11 vs SRH for match 43 of IPL 2025.

CSK Playing 11 vs SRH- IPL 2025, Match 43:

Openers: Shaik Rasheed and Rachin Ravindra

Shaik Rasheed will open the innings for CSK along with Rachin Ravindra. The duo will look to rectify the mistakes of the last match against MI and will look to play with an aggressive approach in the first six overs.

As far as the performance of Rachin Ravindra is concerned, the left-hander has failed to make any notable contributions in the last few matches, which has come to haunt the Chennai Super Kings massively.

Meanwhile, Rasheed, who is coming on the back of an eye-catching debut against LSG, would like to replicate the same performance for the Chennai Super Kings in the game against SRH.

Middle-order batsmen and all-rounders: Ayush Mahatre, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dube, Vijay Shankar, MS Dhoni (C, wk)

The opening duo of Ravindra and Rasheed will be followed by Ayush Mahatre Gaikwad and Shivam Dube. Mahatre, who has replaced Ruturaj Gaikwad in the squad, played a counter-attacking innings in the last game against MI and will look to make the most of the opportunity in the upcoming game against SRH.

All-rounder Shivam Dube, who has been playing mostly as an impact substitute for the last couple of seasons, scored a hard-fought fifty against MI. Dube caught up after a slow start to his innings against Jasprit Bumrah.

Other than Dube, Jadeja also notched up a half-century and played a crucial role in guiding CSK past the 170-run mark after failing to increase the scoring rate in the middle overs.

The duo will look to do the same in the game against SRH on Friday and would hope for the top order to play with a bit more intent in the first six overs.

Bowlers: Ravichandran Ashwin, Noor Ahmad, Matheesha Pathirana, Khaleel Ahmed, Anshul Kamboj

Chennai Super Kings' bowling looked clueless against some intelligent batting from Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav, both of whom transferred the pressure back on the CSK bowlers after losing an early wicket in the powerplay.

Other than the fast bowlers, the spinners who were once considered the strength of Chennai Super Kings have not been able to deliver a solid performance in the tournament so far, with the trio of Ashwin, Jadeja, and Noor failing to hunt in a pack that has made things difficult for the MS Dhoni-led side.

Although CSK has two of the top five leading wicket-takers in the tournament at their disposal, the five-time champions have found it difficult to restrict the opposition below the score of 180 runs due to the inability to pick wickets in the middle and in the final five overs.
