Chennai Super Kings (CSK) skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad so far has looked top-notch with his leadership skills in the ongoing game against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The 61st game of the tournament between the teams is taking place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Chennai Super Kings have been asked to field first and Ruturaj Gaikwad has accepted that challenge brilliantly. Despite the first-string bowlers not being there, the young batter has marshaled his troops brilliantly in the game against Rajasthan Royals at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

Ruturaj Gaikwad has made brilliant bowling changes in what is the most crucial game for them in the IPL 2024. While his seriousness on the field has been for everyone to see, the Chennai Super Kings skipper was also left in splits by the antics of his teammate Maheesh Theekshana.

During the 1st ball of the 6th over, Maheesh Theekshana bowled a tossed-up delivery to Jos Buttler on middle and leg. The batter nudged it back to the bowler, who got his hand to it but fumbled it and the ball went to mid-wicket. As the bowler ran after the ball, he fumbled to gather it again and fell hilarious.

Looking at this, skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad couldn't control his laughter. The captain of Chennai Super Kings was seen laughing covering his mouth. The video of the incident went viral on the internet within minutes after the incident. Here's the clip:

Coming to the match, Chennai Super Kings have been brilliant with the ball in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. Jos Buttler (21) and Yashasvi Jaiswal (24) gave a powerful start to their team and it seemed that they would post a big total on the board at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.

However, Chennai Super Kings pulled back things incredibly well, credits to Simarjeet Singh. The pacer removed both the openers and made sure that he lifted the crowd at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. They would be hoping to keep things tight and restrict the opposition to a low total.

Very crucial, I think every game is big, it's a big opportunity - Moeen Ali

Chennai Super Kings all-rounder Moeen Ali opened up about the game against Rajasthan Royals. He admitted that it's a crucial game for them and they are desperate for the win. He also talked about the presence of MS Dhoni in the team and stated:

"Very crucial, I think every game is big, it's a big opportunity. We need a win, had a bad last game. Hopefully we can get those two points today. Rajasthan are a top side. I think toss has been crucial in the night games, it has been difficult for the spinners due to the dew, has been difficult to grip the ball.

"Hopefully the wicket can spin today, I know they have two fantastic spinners, but that's our strength too. As players we speak to him (Dhoni), it's special to play with him. Need to take early wickets against RR, they bat deep. Think they have a really balanced side," he concluded.
