David Miller openly trolls Kuldeep Yadav after win vs RCB, recalls GT heartbreak

David Miller completed the unfinished business for the Delhi Capitals (DC) in style last night against the defending champion Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). DC needed 15 runs to win the match in the penultimate over, and Miller hit the winning runs on the fifth ball. Delhi got a thrilling win over the in-form Royal Challengers Bengaluru, thanks to David Miller’s 10-ball cameo.

After the match, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Kuldeep Yadav and Miller were engaged in a joyful chatter. The main motive of the video was to highlight the moments of Miller's masterclass against the RCB bowlers. During the conversation, the Protea batter suddenly took a banter at the spinner.

DC suffered early blows in their innings

Last night, RCB registered a competitive total of 176 runs on their home ground against the Delhi Capitals. The target was not too massive, but the match turned more interesting as soon as the middle-order of Delhi was hit by multiple blows during the crucial junctures of the match.

KL Rahul provided DC a solid start, but the departures of Pathum Nissanka, Karun Nair, and Sameer Rizvi made the run chase quite difficult for them. Inside the power play, the Capitals were down by 3 wickets. They lost the three batters in 2.5 overs for only 18 runs on the board.

David Miller was on strike in the penultimate over

At that point in the match, RCB was in the lead to claim the match. In the last over of the game, when Tristan Stubbs, a well-set Tristan Stubbs, and David Miller were on the crease.

Ahead of the 20^th over of the second innings, Stubbs was 59* (46), and Miller was 6* (6). For the final over, RCB captain Rajat Patidar handed the ball to Romario Shephard, who had not bowled before that over in the night. Miller, who faced only 6 balls ahead of the final over of the match, smashed the pacer for two back-to-back sixes and one four on the third, fourth, and fifth deliveries, respectively, to win the match.

“Unbelievable game in the last over, finished the game for us. Happy?” Kuldeep Yadav asked David Miller. In response, Miller said, “I’m very happy. You know, we lost the previous game against the Gujarat Titans (GT), which, you know, did not end up too well.”

Against GT, Delhi lost the match by only 1 run. In that match too, David Miller went out of his skin to confirm a thrilling victory for the team. Kuldeep Yadav was at the non-striker’s end in that game. In the last ball, they ran to steal a run to level the score, but Kuldeep Yadav ran out, and DC lost the match by only 1 run.

“Obviously, you have a better non-striker in. This time, Stubbs was there. He was playing really well,” Yadav said in the video. Miller candidly replied, “He's quicker than you”, followed by Yadav’s “Yeah, obviously”.
