Other than David Warner, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell are the only other Australian players to feature in at least 100 T20Is for Australia. Former Aussie skipper Aaron Finch played 103 T20I games during his career. All-rounder Glenn Maxwell has played 101 T20Is for Australia so far.

Interim Australia coach Daniel Vettori hailed David Warner for reaching the milestone during a presentation ahead of AUS vs WI 1st T20I. Vettori noted that many players have termed Warner as the greatest three-format player for Australia.

“It’s a testament to your skill and your fitness to be able to be here for such an extended period of time.
