David Warner

Warner has not been his free-scoring self so far in the season. He scored just one in his previous match against SRH. He has just scored 167 runs in the first seven games at a strike rate of 135.77 and an average less than 25.

Prithvi Shaw

Shaw started well but has tapered off in the IPL as of now. He scored 16 off five balls in the match against SRH. Overall, he has scored 174 runs in six matches at an average of 29. He is scoring at a high strike rate but not scoring too many.

Jake Fraser-McGurk

He scored 65b off just 18 balls in the big run chase against SRH.  His attacking approach to batting is the approach that is needed by the C batters.

Rishabh Pant (C/WK)

He will slot in at four. He scored 44 off 35 balls against SRH at a strike rate of 125 but that came in a lost cause. The DC skipper has scored 254 runs in five matches at a strike rate of 150.30.

Tristan Stubbs

Stubbs has been a good addition in the middle-order for DC. He has been playing important cameos for his side in the season so far. He has scored 199 runs in the tournament and scored them at a strike rate of 180.91.

Axar Patel

Axar Patel will slot in at six. He has not scored runs consistently with the bat for the Delhi Capitals but has been miserly with the bat for the side. His partnership with Kuldeep Yadav has been key.

Lalit Yadav

Lalit is an all-rounder but has not got many chances with the bat. His main job remains with the ball to bowl economical overs in the middle overs.

Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep will slot in at eight. He missed a few games due to injury and DC missed him dearly. He missed 4/55 in the match against SRH and 10 from five games so far in this season's IPL.

Anrich Nortje

Nortje is the fourth specialist overseas player in the XI. He joined the side late and was dropped from a few games. Against SRH, he went for 31 from his three overs.

Khaleel Ahmed

Khaleel will be one of the two Indian pacers in the DC XI. He went wicketless in the previous match bowling a spell of 51 off three overs. He has taken 10 wickets from 8 games.

Mukesh Kumar

Mukesh will be the second Indian pacer in the XI. He has picked up nine wickets from five games so far in the season. Overall, he has 16 IPL wickets.

Impact Sub- Abishek Porel

Porel has been consistently used as the Impact Sub by the Delhi Capitals. Against SRH, he scored 42 off 22 balls. He has maintained a high strike rate whenever he has batted for the side.
