Did someone intentionally poison Mayank Agarwal? Unfortunate incident reaches legal rescue

Indian batter Mayank Agarwal has filed a police complaint through his manager after being hospitalised will illness. Mayank fell ill after consuming contaminated water while the team was en route from Agartala, Tripura, to Surat, Gujarat.
As per reports, it is suspected that Mayank might have consumed acid of very little proportion which is why he fell ill. Mayank was admitted to ILS Hospital, Agartala where he is currently undergoing treatment. Reports further said that he is struggling to speak and was transferred to the intensive care unit (ICU) after his initial treatment.
As per late reports, Mayank is out of danger after consuming water that was provided to him by the crew. Further reports say that the cabin crew placed an acid bottle in the water storage area and Mayank consumed the acid mistaking it for water.
“Mayank Agarwal, an international cricket player. Now he is stable and his vitals are normal. But his manager has lodged a specific complaint under NCCPS (New Capital Complex Police Station) to investigate the matter,” SP West Tripura Kiran Kumar told PTI.
“His manager said that when he was sitting in the airplane, there was a pouch in front of him. He drank a little bit not much but suddenly there was irritation in his mouth and suddenly he couldn’t talk also and was brought to ILS hospital. He had swelling and ulcers in the mouth. Otherwise his vitals are stable” said the officer in charge about the details of the incident.
Tripura State Health Secretary Kiran Gitte said that the police have lodged the complaint of the Indian cricketer and will do further investigation into the matter.
“Police has admitted his complaint and we will investigate as to what happened. As per his manager, he will travel tomorrow to Bengaluru and meanwhile whatever best treatment is available in Agartala, we will provide him” said Gitte.
Mayank Agarwal Out Of Danger After Hospitalisation
Manoj Kumar Debnath, Manager, Business Development of ILS Hospitals Agartala issued a press release on the medical condition of Mayanbk. He gave first-hand details regarding how Mayank was feeling after he drank the contaminated water. He said Manay Agarwal was “experiencing some oral irritation and swelling on his lips. After being assessed by the consultants of the hospital in emergency, he was admitted. For now, he is clinically stable and is being constantly clinically monitored.” he confirmed.
A Karnataka Cricket Board Official (KSCA) also stated PTI starting Mayank’s well-being.
“He (Agarwal) is not in any kind of danger. He is under observation currently in a hospital at Agartala, and we will fly him back to Bengaluru once we get an update from the doctors, which we are expecting tonight,” a Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) official told PTI on condition of anonymity.
Mayank Agarwal led Karnataka to a 29-run win against Tripura on Monday. Karnataka will next play Railways in their next Ranji Trophy match in Surat. His last Test was against Sri Lanka in Bengaluru in March 2022. Overall, he has played 21 Test matches and has scored 1488 runs at an average of 41.33 with four hundreds and six fifties.
