Former India National Cricket Team cricketer Dinesh Karthik has picked his all-time Indian XI. What caught the attention of many was that the cricketer-turned-commentator didn't pick the most successful captain of the team, MS Dhoni, in his line-up.

Dinesh Karthik went in with Rohit Sharma and Virender Sehwag as two openers in his all-time Indian XI. The duo arguably are two of the best openers in the history of the Indian National Cricket Team. They have played an instrumental role in making India dominant in all three formats of the game.

At No.3, Karthik picked Rahul Dravid while Sachin Tendulkar will be batting at No.4. The duo are the legends of Indian cricket and are rated as the best batters in the world cricket. They have achieved various milestones and their contribution to Indian cricket has been irreplaceable.

Dinesh Karthik then went on to pick Virat Kohli at No.5. The right-hander is currently the best batter going in the world cricket in all three formats. If there's anyone close to Sachin Tendulkar, it's Kohli as his impact on the game and contribution to Indian cricket is immense.

Yuvraj Singh and Ravindra Jadeja are the two all-rounders in Dinesh Karthik's all-time India's playing XI across all formats. The former is arguably the best all-rounder who played for the India National Cricket Team. He was the main reason behind the team winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2007 and the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

On the other hand, Ravindra Jadeja is currently the mainstay of the Indian team. Since the last decade, he has been contributing equally well to the team with both bat and ball. The all-rounder has played a huge role in the India National Cricket Team registering some famous wins across formats.
