Dinesh Karthik Reacts To Sai Kishore's Teary-Eyed Moment In Asian Games 2023 Quarter-Final Against Nepal

Tamil Nadu spinner Sai Kishore is a part of the Indian squad that has been selected for the Asian Games 2023. The squad is in China at the moment and have qualified for the semi-finals after their win over Nepal.
Sai Kishore took 1 for 25 in four overs and played his part in taking India to the semi-finals of the tournament. The Tamil Nadu cricketer finally got his maiden call-up after playing domestic cricket for several years.
After playing 30 FC matches and 46 matches in the white-ball format for Tamil Nadu, Kishore finally made his India debut which was a proud moment for him. When the national anthem of India was on, Kishore had an emotional moment as he was seen in tears as he could not hold back his emotions.
This evoked a reaction for Dinesh Karthik a veteran Tamil Nadu cricketer himself. Karthik took to X and shared a post recollecting Sai Kishore’s cricketing journey so far.

“You want some people to do well , he was always on the top of my list. The way he’s improved his batting tells you all about him , he was literally a STROKELESS wonder, and from there he’s absolutely transformed into someone who can be relied upon in any format. I can keep speaking about him , but for now. I’m just so happy to see him become an INDIAN cricketer and none can ever take that away from him. Go well sai,” Karthik wrote on Twitter.
India will play just three games in the Asian Games. They qualified directly for the quarter-final by virtue of their ICC T20I rankings. In the quarter-final too, they delivered a match-winning performance beating Nepal by 23 runs.
