An earthquake was felt at the Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad during the U19 World Cup clash between the Zimbabwe U19 team and the Ireland U19 team.

The earthquake had sent mild tremors at the stadium when Zimbabwe were batting. However, it didn’t have any impact on the play but the commentators were talking about the vibrations they experienced during the live broadcast.

The incident happened in the 5th ball of the 6th over when Ireland spinner Matthew Humphreys was bowling to Brian Bennett and the front-on television camera showed the surroundings shaking furiously.

“We are… I believe we are having an earthquake right now. In the box. We are indeed having an earthquake (laughs). It felt like not just a train going by behind us, but the whole Queen’s Park Oval media centre rocked.” Andrew Leonard, the ICC commentator said.
