New Zealand National Cricket Team batting all-rounder Daryl Mitchell, who has been in red-hot form lately, apologised to a fan for spilling her beer with a six on Day 1 of the 2nd Test match of the three-match Test series against the Ben Stokes-led England National Cricket Team.
Daryl Mitchell, who had smashed a ton in the first Test against England at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground, London, batted brilliantly in the second Test at the Trent Bridge, Nottingham.

He came out to bat when New Zealand were at 161/3 and after losing his partner, Devon Conway, he added 236 runs with Tom Blundell for the 5th wicket.
During the 56th over of New Zealand’s first innings, Daryl Mitchell smashed a six over the long-on to spinner Jack Leach that landed straight into a fan’s glass of beer.
Meanwhile, the New Zealand Cricket (NZC) offered a beer to the woman after the unfortunate incident and after the end of the day’s play, the Kiwi all-rounder himself met the fan, Susan, and apologised to her for spilling her beer.
