ENG vs SA: Moeen Ali Scores England's Fastest T20I Fifty In Just 16 Balls

With a superb performance of aggressive batting, England all-rounder Moeen Ali once again demonstrated why the T20 format is becoming more and more well-liked among the overall population.
In the first T20I match against South Africa, the seasoned cricketer destroyed the opposition, smashing a half-century off just 16 balls.
Moeen made history by scoring a fifty in the fewest balls needed for an Englishman in a T20 international match with the help of two fours and six massive sixes.
Jason Roy and Jos Buttler were both dismissed early in England’s opening innings of batting, but the team still batted like crazy. The top three hitters as the hosts scored 234 runs in 20 overs were Dawid Malan (43 off 23), Jonny Bairstow (90 off 53), and Moeen (52 off 18).
Reeza Hendricks (57 off 33) and Tristan Stubbs (72 off 28) both contributed to South Africa’s reply, but ultimately they were only able to score 193 runs in 20 overs.

Because of his quick-fire half-century and the crucial wicket he took of Reeza Hendricks, Moeen Ali was named the Player of the Match.
Lungi Ngidi, who finished with a 5-wicket haul, was the Proteas’ preferred bowler. The only other South African bowler with a wicket was Andile Phehlukwayo, who nevertheless let up 63 runs in his four allotted overs. Phehlukwayo allowed an enormous 33 runs to be scored in one of his overs.
